It all started with a little server by the name of Swarlocraft. Swarlocraft was created by drtshock, Jsfreeman7, and Smashdude, because he was sick of other servers he played on, and he wanted a place where him and a few friends could play and have fun.
drtshock was a developer for NovaFactions/LegacyRaid for about 5 months now. Scrappy, as he was known came to drtshock in hopes that the two of them would be able to build a new server together. After a few days of work, out came what began Obdurocraft.
Hawkfalcon and drtshock partnered together to build the first ever ShockNetwork! This is the first instance of a true network, with games like Factions, Invasion, Risk, King of the Hill, Skywars, and Survival.
This is the first time that drtshock departs from ShockNetwork. At this time, FlamingPaw took over Factions, and Hawkfalcon continued taking care of the rest of the network. This is where ShockNetwork had it's peakin terms of online players, 400+ at the same time throughout the network!
After 8 months, hawkfalcon decided to retire from Minecraft as a whole to further his studies. The network was given to Drew (Double0negitive), and Chasky.
Time to bounce back! drtshock returns as the sole owner of ShockNetwork. However due to some unfortunate events, everything had to be built from the ground up. We started out with Factions, Risk, and Invasion.
drtshock once again must leave his role in the network. FlamingPaw returns as the owner in an attempt to bring ShockNetwork back to glory as it once was.
With ShockNetwork back in drtshock's hands, ShockNetwork comes down one last time. On behalf of all ShockNetwork staff over the years, we thank you for all the wonderful times that were made here.
